Day 01 Cochin – Guwahati Flight Journey
Meet & Greet upon arrival at Guwahati Airport and transfer to Shillong (120 Kms. 3Hrs Approx) Enroute visit Umiam Lake Umiam, locally known as Dam sait is a reservoir in the hills 15 km (9.3 mi) north of Shillong in the state of Meghalaya it is also the largest manmade lake in northeast india. If time permits visit Wards Lake & Lady Hyderi Park (Depending on time). Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Hotel at Shillong.
Day 02 Shillong – Mawlynnong- Dawki - Shillong
Today you can choose to visit Mawlynnong, the cleanest village in Asia. Mawlynnong is a tiny village on the Indo – Bangla border which has earned the distinction of being the cleanest village in Asia. Villagers have transformed this village into a picture postcard by planting many flowering plants alongside the footpaths and around their houses. Every villager participates in voluntarily cleaning up the village on a daily basis. The village is a two hour drive from Shillong through a scenic road. Upon arrival at Shillong, after lunch drive to Dawki. Visit Umngot river and local site seeing at Dawki. Evening back to Shillong. Overnight stay in Hotel at Shillong.
Day 03 Shillong – Cherrapunjee – Shillong
Today after breakfast proceed to Cherrapunjee also known as Sohra which has often been credited as being the wettest place on Earth, but for now nearby Mawsynram currently holds that distinction. It still holds the all-time record for the most rainfall in a calendar month and in a year. En route visit Elephant Falls & MawkdokDympep Valley. Later at Cherrapunjee, visit, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Seven Sister Falls and Eco Park. Evening drive back to Shillong. Overnight stay in Hotel at Shillong.
Day 04 Shillong - Kaziranga
Today after breakfast check out from hotel and visit Don Bosco Museum, later proceed to Kaziranga (Approx 220 Kms 5 Hrs ). After arrival at Kaziranga. Evening you can enjoy cultural shows. Overnight stay in Hotel at Kaziranga.
Day 05 Kaziranga - Guwahati
Morning proceed for Elephant safari. Post breakfast check out & Jeep Safari inside at Kaziranga National Park (Central/Western Range). After lunch drive to Guwahati. Evening enjoy Sunset Cruise at Mighty River Brahmaputra (if time permits / on direct payment basis). Overnight stay in Hotel at Guwahati.
Day 06 Guwahati
Transfer to Airport for your return flight to Cochin. Tour ends with sweet memories…!
