DAY 01: AHMEDABAD
Today on arrival transfer to hotel. Check in the hotel. After lunch start – Ahmedabad City tour includes-Gandhi Ashram,Iscon Mandir,Akshardham Temple etc…Overnight stay in Ahmedabad
DAY 02: AHMEDABAD –SASAN GIR – SOMNATH (410 KMS)
Morning Ahmedabad proceed to Somnath. On way to Somnath visit Sasan Gir Devalia Safari Park- enjoy the Jungle Safari in Jipsi – Proceed to Somanath and Reach the destination Somnath, check-in into the hotel
DAY 03: SOMNATH
Morning breakfast, visit the Bhalka Tirth, Triveni Sangam(Hiran,kapila,saraswati), Panch Pandav Gufa-This is a gufa near Triveni Sangam. It is dedicated to Mata Hingalaj Devi who was Kuldevta of Paanch Padav-,The story behind the temple dates back to the mahabharata era, it says that when the pandavas where on a fourteen year exile had put a stay in this caves, after a years time they requested goddess hinghlaj mataji to free them from the ordeal, the godess came and freed them from the same Suraj Mandir-is one of the oldest sun temple of the country believed about 5000 years old it’s also said the Pandavas of Epic Mahabharat staid here at the time of there Agyatvas. The current structure of the temple is constructed in 14th century,- Gita Mandir- lord Krishna left his body at this place & ascend to heaven. His brother Baldev cremated his body here. enjoy the Light & sound show at Somnath Temple. Back to Hotel having Dinner and relax at Hotel
DAY 04: SOMNATH – PORBANDAR – DWARKA
After morning breakfast proceed to Dwarka via Porbandar visit Kirti Mandir – the place where Gandhiji was born. Lunch at Dwarka, after lunch visit Bet Dwarka- s believed to have been the original home of Lord Krishna during his years spent in Dwaraka as a king. The land is located off the coast of Dwarka on Gulf of Kutch. , Rukmani Mandir- Lord krishna along with his wife Rukmini / Rukmanee visited his Kul-guru (teacher) DURVASA maharshi to seek his blessings and requested him to visit Dwarka and be their guest; however maharshi demanded that both the husband and wife should pull the chariot instead of horses, which the couples agreed and start pulling the chariot; but Rukmini devi got tired and was thirsty also, seeing this lord krishna made water to appear of no where from land and Rukmini devi quenched her thirst; upon seeing this Durvasa maharshi got angry because they had violated the rule of treating the guest where before offering water to the guest the host herself drank water – he cursed Rukmini devi that she shall be separated from her husband (Krishna) for a period of 12 years and also all the water in Dwarka will be salty (even today you will not get soft water in Dwarka – any well or borwell dug in Dwarka only gives salt / hard water which cannot be consumed).Overnight Stay in the hotel at Dwarka.
DAY 05: DWARKA – AHMEDABAD
After morning breakfast proceed to Ahmedabad. On route visit Jamnagr sightseeing like Lakhota lake, Lakhota museum and Bala Hanuman temple- Delhi located on the banks of the Yamuna River has been stated to be the Indraprastha city built by Pandavas of the Mahabharata epic period.. Later proceed to Ahmedabad.
DAY 06: AHMEDABAD- STATUE OF UNITY
After morning breakfast proceed visit “Iron Man of India”. The Statue of Unity is the world’s tallest statue at 182 metres (597 ft) of iconic leader Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Experience stunning view from Observatory deck. En route visit Sardar Sarovar Dam – Narmada River. Night stay inVadodara.
DAY 07: FLIGHT TO HOME DESTINATION
n time transfer to Airport to board the flight to Cochin
