Day 2 GUWAHATI CITY TOUR

After breakfast proceed for Guwahati City tour includes-. Assembly Building, High Court ,Secretariat, Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills.The temple is primary amongst the 51 Shakti Peethas related to the sect that follows Sati, and remains one of the most important Shakta temples. Kamakhya temple is most powerful and oldest shaktipeeth in all 51 shaktipeeth. Day 3GUWAHATI- CHERRAPUNJEE( MEGHALAYA)

After breakfast Check out from the hotel proceed to Cherrapunjee(150Km- 4hrs 30 minutes) which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. Drive through amid pine trees and mists we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister falls,Mawsmai Caves, Garden of cave,Later transfer to Shillong. Day 4 SHILLONG -MAWLYNNONG – DAWKI – SHILLONG

Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong.(85 km-3hrs Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in Asia. You can take the sky walk -Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge.After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. It is a splendid drive of 45 kilometres passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience.After reaching Dawki- you can visit Dawki Tamabil Border-It is used mainly for coal transportation to BangladeshAfter visit the boarder proceed to Umngot river. Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which is a single span suspension bridge was constructed.Dawki Lake is popular for its location and beautiful crystal water. After boarder visit we proceed to Dawki lake is located in West Jaintia Hills district in Meghalaya. It seems like a water area surrounded by hills.. The river called Umngot creates this lake. You can hire a boat from the road crossing towards the border. This boat floated us to an edge of the river where it came from the Jaintia Hills.. Later back to ShillongNight stay in Shillong

Day 5 SHILLONG -UMIUM LAKE-KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK

After breakfast  check out from hotel – Proceed to Kaziranga 280km – 6hrs) will visit the largest manmade lake of Northeast India – Umium Lake.-Located about 15 kms north of Shillong, this lake is basically a water reservoir that was formed due to the damming of the Umiam river. … Hire a boat and sail into its crystal clear water to enjoy the surrounding beauty of the entire landscape. After boating proceed to Kaziranga National Park in the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-kms, is inhabited by the world’s largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment.Overnight stay in Kaziranga

Day 6 KAZARINGA NATIONAL PARK JEEP SAFARI- KOHIMA(NAGALAND)

After breakfast drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a jeep safari. The Jeep safari offers you some spectacular sighting of the grazing Rhinos grazing or wallowing in the large grassland, a herd of elephants with having the adorable baby elephants to big old elephants in the herd, and many other species of the wild flora and fauna of this tourism zone. Day 7 KISAMA NAGA HERITAGE VILLAGE

Today we visit Kisama – Naga Heritage Village. Engaging with the locals, we get to experience Nagaland like never before. Back to Kohima, we visit Kohima Cathedral – one of the biggest cathedrals in North East India, Nagaland State Museum, and Kohima War Cemetery. in Kohima was built in the year April 1944 to mark the death of the soldiers who lost their in the Second World War at Kohima. In the memory of those soldiers of the allied force of 2nd British Division this war cemetery was built. To prevent the Burma attack, the Japanese army attacked the British army who were then stationed at North East India in March 1944. Later in April, the Japanese army after occupying the Garrison hill attacked the commonwealth forces. The British National Army Museum in 2013 declared the battle of Imphal and Kohima as ‘Britain’s greatest battle’.. Night Stay in Kohima

Day 8 KOHIMA – IMPHAL (MANIPUR)

Today we proceed to Imphal (138km-5hrs) -Capital city of Manipur.. Evening Visit Govindjee Temple – the largest Hindu, Vaishnav temple in Imphal city and Ima Bazaar – the World’s only all Women run Market.Overnight stay in Imphal

Day 9 IMPHAL-MOREH- IMPAL

After breakfast .visit Loktak Lake – the largest fresh water lake in North-East. The largest freshwater lake in North East India is also known as the ‘floating lake’ for the numerous phumdis or masses of vegetation it supports. The phumdis float around on the lake’s surface due to decay from the bottom. .we will drive to Indian -Myanmar Border town of Moreh(130km 3-4 hrs drive). On reaching there we will visit the nearest town of Myanmar i.e Tamu after crossing the international border to Tamu in Myanmar (Burma).Our Viechle is not allowed to enter Myanmar. Guest will take Tuk- Tuk Service from boarder. Day 10 IMPHAL- FLIGHT TO AGARTALA THRIPURA

Reach Agarthala- capital city of the Indian state of Tripura, and is one of the largest cities in northeast India.Tripura is a hilly state in northeast India, bordered on 3 sides by Bangladesh,After reach Agarthala – visit, Heritage Park, spread over twelve acre of land is located at the centre of the city, on the northern side of Raj Bhawan on the Agartala-GBP Hospital road. Entrance to the park has an imposing gate depicting the cultural heritage of Tripura, both tribal and non-tribal. The park has three sagments mini-Tripura located in about three acre of land at the entrance, central area being raised as natural forest, and a plain table land with medicinal plants, herbs and shrubs. Day 11 AGARTALA CITY TOUR- BOARDER FLAG DOWN PARADE

After breakfast VisitTripura Sundari Temple According to mythology, Lord Vishnu had cut off the body of Mata Sati into 51 pieces with his ‘Sudarshana Chakra’ and all these pieces fell at different places throughout the country and these places are known as ‘Shaktipeeths’. It is said that ‘right foot’ of Mata Sati fell at Matabari on the south-western outskirts of Udaipur town. This ‘pithasthan’ (centre of pilgrimage) is also known as Kurma Pith because the shape of the temple premises resembles that of “Kurma” or tortoise. The idol of ‘Maa Kali’, presiding deity of the temple, stands in the sanctum sanctorum and it is made of reddish black stone, popularly known in Bengali as ‘Kashtipathar’.This temple is one of the 51 holiest ‘Shaktipeeths’ (Shrine of the goddess of power) in India as per Hindu mythology.Continue the tour with Neer Mahal – a former royal palace built by Maharaja of Tripura Kingdom Neer mahal is the largest water palace in India that also hosts the water-sporting event,After LunchUjjayanta Palace – former palace of the Kingdom of Tripura built in the Indo – Saracenic style of architecture.Ujjayanta palace was bought off from the royalty in the year 1973 by the Tripura Government and since then it has been operating as the legislative headquarters of the state till 2011. A part of the palace has been converted to the Tripura Government Museum in the year 2013. Day 13 FLIGHT TO KOLKOTTA ( BENGAL)

After breakfast proceed to Airport  for your flight to Kolkota – reach Kolkata, After Lunch  visit Eco Park– Eco Park in Kolkata. Day 14 KOLKOTA SIGHTSEEING

After Breakfast proceed for full day sightseeing of Kolkota City. Our tour starts withBelur Math, this is the headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, founded by Swami Vivekananda.-Swami breathed his last breath on 4th July, 1902 at this place.This temple is the heart of the Ramakrishna Movement. The temple is notable for its architecture that fuses Hindu, Islamic, Buddhist, and Christian art and motifs as a symbol of unity of all religionsThe Victoria Memorial Hall, (Open All days except Monday and National Holidays) is a memorial building dedicated to Victoria, Empress of India. It was built between 1906 and 1921 to commemorate Queen Victoria’s 25-year reign in India. … Her reign ended with her death in 1901. The Victoria Memorial is possibly the most awesome reminder of the Raj to be found in India   St. Paul’s Cathedral is a Church of North India cathedral of Anglican background in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, noted for its Gothic architecture and dedicated to Paul the Apostle. The white walls, the coloured glass windows and the Indo-Gothic architecture makes this place one of the most visited ones on a trip to Kolkata. The mass halls and the altar is peaceful and one can enjoy a little slice of solitude here. The gardens are well maintained and the complex also comprises of a library and some museum artifacts. The cornerstone was laid in 1839; the building was completed in 1847. After Lunch visit Tagore HouseBuilt in 1875, the Tagore House was the ancestral home of India’s greatest modern poet, Rabindranath Tagore—a native of Kolkata. The Mother House of the Missionaries of Charity – It is here that Mother Teresa lived, prayed, worked, and guided her religious family of sisters spread across the world., Mother House (Closed On Thursdays & National holidays It is here that her body was laid to rest.Mother House is the final resting place for Mother Teresa’s mortal remains and also happens to be the headquarters and residential quarters for the Missionaries of Charity, which was started by Mother Teresa. DAY 15 FLIGHT TO HOME DESTINATION

After breakfast have half day city window tour of Kolkata. Start the tour by visiting Dalhousie Square (Covering Raj Bhavan, St. John’s church-St. John’s Church, originally a cathedral, was among the first public buildings erected by the East India Company after Kolkata (Calcutta) became the capital of British India. It is located at the North-Western corner of Raj Bhavan, and served as the Anglican Cathedral of Calcutta till 1847 We continue our tour includes High Court, GPO( General Post office), Town Hall, Writer’s Building and other important colonial buildings).Writer’s Building is the 240 years old historic building, currently home to the State Government of West Bengal, was house to junior servants of the East India Company. The Writers’ Building has since then witnessed centuries of political and cultural changes and developments in the city.Visit Eden Gardens is a cricket ground in Kolkata, India.
